We are an academy based in Newsome, Huddersfield. Our school provision meets the needs of learners with complex layered needs from the age of 3 to 19.

The Pennine Teaching and Learning Development Centre is led by Castle Hill School. 

We provide training and development opportunities for teachers and leaders at all stages in their career from

Trainee Teachers to Early Career Teachers to Leadership Development. 

In addition we provide specific SEND CPD support in a range of subject areas including:

• Assessment

• Communication

• Early maths

• Positive behaviour 

We work with highly experienced System Leaders who deliver support and training across different phases and are active participants within the Kirklees SEND offer and the Calderdale and Kirklees Teaching School Hub.
