UNICEF Silver Award

We are very excited to announce that we have achieved the second stage of Unicef’s Rights Respecting Schools Award. We are now Silver: Rights Aware!

Unicef came to visit school last week and were very impressed with our pupils and how staff help them to recognise and enjoy all of their rights here at school. Congratulations to everyone involved!

Visit from local author Salma Zaman

We were lucky to have local author Salma Zaman in school as part of the Huddersfield Literature Festival. She shared her story of Greedy Gertie with us and led us in Bollywood dance. Here we are enjoying her story. https://www.salmasbollywoodacademy.com/

Fruit Week March 2019

Many thanks to the families who were able to join us for the School Council’s ‘Family Fruit Morning’ last week. It was lovely to see so many of you sharing fruit with your children. Thank you too for your generosity – we raised £91 towards our new minibus!
