Castle Hill Special School Fund - Registered charity number: 1008336
Castle Hill Special School Fund (CHSSF) is a registered charity that exists to support the Castle Hill School by raising funds for specialist items and experience to enhance the lives of students and their families.
CHSSF submits funding applications to other charities, trusts and foundations such as the National Lottery, Sport England and One Community.
Our Charitable Aim: To raise funds for Castle Hill School in order to enhance the provision for students with severe and profound learning difficulties.

Fundraising activity
During the last financial year, the following funding was awarded to CHSSF:
Brelms Foundation - £2800
For a week-long music residency in the run up to CastleFest
One Community – Westerman Fund -£900
Performers at Castle Fest
Linean Foundation - £500
A land art INSET session for staff and a day of activity for students
Soil Association - £150
A ‘Grow and Share’ project, where sixth form students grew vegetables, herbs and flowers for a primary phase playground area.
Liz & Terri Bramall -£2000
The delivery of an interschool art project that culminated in new work for the school’s gallery wall.
Global Givin - £3563.54
This funding has been awarded by Cummins Engineering and will be put towards the development of the new destination playground
One Community- Westerman fund £1000
For the purchase of specialist sensory equipment for Early Years classes
National Lottery – Local Connections Fund - £2500
A program of wellbeing activities to support parents and carers.
