Pupils and staff are celebrating after achieving the Artsmark Award.

In order to become an Artsmark School, we have demonstrated our commitment to giving each and every child a high quality art and cultural education. To achieve this we have worked in partnership with Cape UK and a variety of other arts organisations including; ‘Shabang’, ‘Fabric Lenny’ and ‘Purple Patch Arts’. Other partnership work with our Newsome Pyramid of schools has provided staff and students with fun and inspirational experiences, approaches and ideas ensuring creativity is at the core of arts activity.

Moving forward the Artsmark Award will allow us to gain access to exceptional resources as well as networks of the country’s most treasured cultural organisations, helping us develop and strengthen our arts provision.
